The operation of industrial chiller system works through three interconnected systems: refrigerant cycle system, water cycle system, and electrical control system.
I. Refrigerant circulation system
The liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs the heat in the water and begins to evaporate. Finally, a certain temperature difference is formed between the refrigerant and the water. The liquid refrigerant also completely evaporates to a gaseous state, and is sucked in and compressed by the compressor (pressure and temperature increase ), The gaseous refrigerant absorbs heat through the condenser (air-cooled / water-cooled) and condenses into a liquid. After throttling through an expansion valve (or capillary tube), it becomes a low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant and enters the evaporator to complete the refrigerant cycle process.
Second, the water circulation system
The water pump is responsible for pumping water out of the water tank to the equipment to be cooled by the user. After the heat is taken away by the frozen water, the temperature rises, and then returns to the frozen water tank.
Third, electrical automatic control system
Including power section and automatic control section. The power supply part supplies power to the compressor, fan, water pump, etc. through the contactor. The automatic control part includes the functions of temperature controller, pressure protection, time delay, relay, overload protection, etc. to achieve automatic start-stop, protection and other functions of the water temperature. Generally above 10P adopts water-cooled heat dissipation, and below 10P adopts air-cooled heat dissipation. Air-cooled industrial chiller is generally a whole machine, and evaporative industrial chiller, compressor and condenser are made together. For the air-cooled industrial chiller with slightly higher power, the heat dissipation problem of the condenser cooling fan during its operation needs to be considered. In air-conditioning plant applications, the whole machine needs to be set up with an exhaust duct to direct the heat from the cooling fan to the outside.
