I. Causes of chiller failure: 1. The overload protector on the chiller AC contactor acts. 2. The chiller capacitor is burned out (single phase). 3. Check whether the chiller coil winding is normal. Generally, the winding value should be greater than 7. Chiller exclusion method: 1. Press the RESET button in the overcurrent protector. 2. Replace the condenser of the chiller. 3. If it is determined that there is a winding problem, please replace the compressor.
Second, the power supply failure (no display of the thermostat during shutdown, etc.) Causes: 1. The mains is disconnected, lacks phase, and is unstable. 2. Check whether the phase sequence protector is burned out. 3. The fuse is blown.
Remedy: 1. Check whether the utility power is normal, and work again after the utility power is normal. 2. Replace the phase sequence protector. 3. Replace the fuse.
Third, the high and low pressure switch failure (the frozen water pump is running but the compressor is stopped) Causes: 1. The chiller and industrial chiller filters are blocked. 2. Low pressure alarm caused by insufficient refrigerant in the chiller system. 3. The high-pressure alarm is caused when the circulating cooling water stops working. 4. The high-temperature alarm is caused when the cooling fan of the chiller heat exchanger stops working. Exclusion method: 1. Clean the filter or replace the filter of the same model. 2. Supplement the refrigerant to the chiller and industrial chiller system. 3. Check whether the water circulator pump of the chiller works normally and repair or replace it. 4. Check whether the radiator fan of the heat exchanger works normally and repair or replace it. Note: 1. Before removing the above faults, the chiller and industrial chiller should check whether the power connection lines are disconnected, damaged, shorted, etc. to avoid unnecessary trouble during maintenance. 2. When the chiller machine fails, professionals should be asked to inspect and maintain the machine. It is strictly forbidden to force the machine to start when the machine handles the failure.
Fourth, the pump failure (the pump stops working and other displays are normal) Causes: 1. The overload protector on the AC contactor of the water pump of the chiller is operating. 2. The chiller water pump capacitor is burned out (single phase). 3. Problems with the chiller water pump itself, such as: coil burnout, bearing necrosis, etc.
Remedy: 1. Press the RESET button in the chiller overcurrent protector. 2. Replace the capacitor. 3. Replace the water pump (when the water pump is replaced, pay attention to the direction of the water pump).
